Ok so thanks to Torsten's donated account avifile now runs on PPC as well.
Of course only native codecs (ffmpeg, mp3) are supported
- so do not expect you will be able to use Win32 codecs :) there
Both asf & avi streams should be played - but just be prepared
that most of asf streams are only playable with Win32 codecs anyway...
As far as I now also 64bit alpha plays something.
So enjoy
(and if someone want to add support for another platform - now it should
be really easy...)
