If you are using actuall CVS you are supposed to know what you are
doing and report some meanigful bug as the current CVS is just
more than 'unstable'
If this happens with latest released snapshost - then we have
some real problem - could you please check few things:
1. remove your ~/.avirc and try to start again
2. if it still coredumps - gdb /usr/bin/aviplay core.pid
run 'bt' and send me the result back please
