Do other audio/video players works for you ?
It looks like you do not have properly installed kernel audio driver
for your card ?
E.g. have you tried to play some mp3 file with xmms ?
(Or just cat wav >/dev/dsp)
I'm not sure how experienced user you are so if you will need
more help about loading kernel driver let me know by private email...
