hmm mmxnow is mea cupla - I'll also have to check some new sources
in qtvidcap - but in general I currently doubt that capturing tool
will be able to run on 'non-i386' platform - unless someone would
help me to clean problems with this utility.

Hmm I'd have to recheck & recompile avifile on some non-i386 platform
to see what is going on there - those new 'debug output' routines were
not tested on noni386 platform yet.
