Doing deinterlacing outside of encoder is the waste of memory bandwidth

Anyway waht I'm working now on for a few weeks is new design for
libmmxnow which will no longer work on images - but it will
be rather represented as a row pipeline.

I guess I will not even try to convince mplayer team to support something
like this as this will require something like few push/pops & call per
row so it's about few thousand waisted CPU instructions per image
- but is there someone who is good at image processing
(I guess I have also quite solid bakground, but if there would be
some more people it would be better)
