I'm relatively testing teh avifile on both SMP and mono CPU machines. So there shouldn't be any such simple deadlock. Maybe could you send me your test file - it'll rather stay somewhere inside some avi reconstruction and will be doing some busy-loop - thus renderer will be waiting for condition. > <renderer> : Detected nVidia GLX driver > <renderer> : If you need to clear two lowes line set shell variable > AVIPLAY_NVIDIA_ENABLE Hmm but I'll have to check the Nvidia support - there has been lately added some support for XV_attrs modification and this was not working properly with non-CVS SDL > "-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--*-160-100-100-p-*-iso8859-*" > > Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. > [Switching to Thread 5126 (LWP 4431)] > 0x407055c4 in X11_GrabInput () from /usr/lib/libSDL-1.2.so.0 > (gdb) where Yeah - this is the problem: What is the version of your graphics XFree server (are you using the latest available ?) Kernel, Graphics card hw ? Are you able to see the same problem with current CVS avifile ? -- .''`.
