Just yet another missed unchanged variable - should be
fixed - alos you might need to set FFMPEG AC3 decoder
in front of AC3 passthrough decoder
(unless you want to use passthrough code - this
works only with SBLive - and it currently looks like
the emu10k1 has some serious bugs inside - i.e. once
you start to use it in AC3 mode there is no way back -
either you will reinsert kernel module after movie playing
or you might expect nice cool kernel deadlock inside
emu-driver - also the usage of emu10k1.sf.net is necessary
as those which comes with current kernel doesn't work at all.

I've no idea why the emu developer(s) even after a year of existence
of this passthrough code aren't able to get into some state where
even average user would be able to use it.

Also - is there any other user with non-SBLive sound card with
working passthrough support - the passthrough code could be
easily extended - but without necessary hardware there
is no chance to do it by me.

So just for the record - SBLive with drivers from 20020420
seems to work properly with current avifile passthrough code
but it certainly requires experinced user to setup kernel
in such a state it will work...
