I'm not an expert on RedHat distro - but I would have expected that
some newer Qt version (like Qt3.0.3) should be probably available
compiled with new gcc.
I hope that RH ships Qt libraries compiled with their recommanded gcc
- otherwise I might start to think some funny things about RH.
(I'm stoping myself here as I really can't judge where is the problem here)
As I said - easiest for you would be probably to remove gcc3.0 from
your distro - you just simply can't mix C++ compilers if you don't know
what you are doing.
Also you might switch to distro made by profesionals (like Debian)
