a)  2pass mode is not implemented it's just remainder for me if I would
    have start to think there is nothing better to do :)

b) using 2pass mode for video capturing doesn't make sence anyway - 
   you had to compress the movie already in the first pass because
   capture frames aren't stored anywhere and you would have need 
   huge free diskspace for such thing...

for this moment it's imposible.

As I'm the only one who works on avifile I guess it'll take quite
some time before 2pass mode will work - however you could
use other projects - like mplayer/mencoder....
