Greetings -- Aviplay is my favorite dv player, but it's been several months since I was able to compile it, either from tarball or cvs (gcc 2.95.3, 3.0.1, 3.1). I compile most of my multimedia programs, so I'm not 100% incompetent.
Stopped at the same place on two different machines. gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../include -fno-exceptions -fno-rtti -Wall -Wno-unused -I../../include -g -O2 -mcpu=i686 -march=i686 -ffast-math -pipe -c ac3-iec958.c -MT ac3-iec958.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/ac3-iec958.TPlo -fPIC -DPIC -o ac3-iec958.lo cc1: unrecognized option `-fno-rtti' make[2]: *** [ac3-iec958.lo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/cvs/avifile/plugins/libac3pass' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/cvs/avifile/plugins' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 I tried ./configure --disable-ac3passthrough and got this: .deps/adpcm_impl.TPlo -fPIC -DPIC -o adpcm_impl.lo cc1: unrecognized option `-fno-rtti' make[2]: *** [adpcm_impl.lo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/cvs/avifile/plugins/libaudiodec' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/cvs/avifile/plugins' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Please do something we can compile! I don't care about features... Cheers, Peter _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile
