I tried to submit a full bug report to MandrakeSoft, but the site is really slow and does not tell me how to do it, how to submit a full preprocessed source. The Mandrake 10 distribution is using GCC 3.3.2. I tried to use ./configure to disable the ffmpeg support, since the bug comes from a file in the ffmpeg directory, but it do not want to disable ffmpeg completely. The options simply have no effect.
Since the last news on avifile.sourceforge.net dates back to July 2003, is AVIFile still maintained? If not, is there some alternative I could use to process AVI files with DivX from Linux, without using the Wine emulator which does not work at all for me?
Thanks in advance
