Great initiative! +1, but no need to discuss that much really, IMO. I mean, considering that the matter makes the community less inclusive, people that are excluded by that aren't here to give their opinion, right? Any merit discussions won't have the full picture in that case.
Technically, it should be easy enough. I would recommend starting with a PR and keep the discussion in the PR review around the best new naming for each case. Just my 2 cents.
