Agreed on all accounts.  I was going to point out, though, as an adennum to me rhetoric, that all the 'young bucks' (and doe's as the case may be) these days, all tend to understand the look of C++ inherently over C (just try teaching them pointers - seperates the good from the mediocre these days).  It's ironic how you pointed out us older folks inverse propensity towards "C".  So I guess one of the most relevant points were you going to make this choice, would be the age of your development team! Ha!
