What do you mean with "inconsistent" here? > The script for avrfreaks' Bingo600 applies 14 patches, the first is "patch-avr-libgcc.S" and it adds the lines that your patch (called patch-newdevices) wants to find ( like: /* 3-Byte PC */). They are not in the 'virgin' gcc 4.3.4 tarball. The page: http://www.nongnu.org/avr-libc/user-manual/install__tools.html only mentions getting the source and adding your patches. In that sense, it's a bit wrong by omission. Do you know how Bingo600 arrived at his list of patches ??
