I agree that the atmega only does steps but i think i am doing the steps correctly or the motor i am using has some special properties built in that only allow for applied motions drivers and not third party
i am trying to use applied motions HT23-597 data sheet http://www.applied-motion.com/sites/default/files/HT23-597_RevB.pdf thanks for any help Eric P. wrote: > > Hi, > > I thought you were driving the MOS FET directly from the ATMega32, but no, > the LS7289 is doing everything > How can the ATmega can burned out the ICs ? you only have access to Step > and Direction . > > Eric. > > > -----Message d'origine----- > De : [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] De la part > de > peruano4life > Envoyé : vendredi 16 septembre 2011 04:30 > À : [email protected] > Objet : Re: [avr-chat] Problem with motor control: Using ATmega32 + LS7290 > + > L298 stepper motor drivers. > > > Hi am am having the same problem also have just burned out 5 IC > today.....with heat sink on l298 > > atmega168.......... and a l297 with l298.......... did you ever come up > with > a solution for this? > > looking for help > > > thank you > > > SachinRathod wrote: >> >> Dear friends, >> I am controlling bipolar stepper motor using ATmega32 and motor driver >> circuit. >> I have made hardware of motor driver.
