Okay, okay. I'll try to dig deeper in the manual.
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Optimize-Options.html isn't working
for me, but maybe its somewhere else. I always have the option of just
looking at the source too. Anyway. Thanks for your help. Sorry for a
question that resulted in a RTFM :-)

I always hate to say this, but the answer to that might be "RTFM". :-)
Seriously, it should be in the docs somewhere, if not, then ask for a
pointer on the gcc list itself.
