For version 1.47 of SRecord, look at the Makefile.in file in the top level. Lines 54-57 state: # # The compiler flags to use # CXXFLAGS = @CXXFLAGS@ Lines 59-62 state: # # The preprocessor flags to use # CPPFLAGS = @CPPFLAGS@ So, yes, CXXFLAGS is correct. Yes, it does work for me. It built and at least it correctly reports the version, which is as far as I've gotten. Obviously the include patch is specific to my machine.
