Follow-up Comment #1, bug #25925 (project avr-libc):
The only way to get this fixed is to modify eeprom.h to work with XMEGA
devices. The first error that is output is:
c:/programme/winavr-20090313/lib/gcc/../../avr/include/avr/eeprom.h:141:4:
error
: #error "Unknown EEPROM register(s) location."
This will make it a no-go for just about everything in <avr/eeprom.h>
