Follow-up Comment #1:
The ATmega324P.xml device file from AVR Studio has duplicate <SIGNATURE> tags
with different data in them. This is Atmel bug #11908. When this bug is fixed,
separate header files need to be generated for the ATmega324P and ATmega324A
and included in avr-libc (currently they use a single iom324.h header file),
and io.h modified accordingly.
