Hello, I'd like to install the CVS version of avrdude to test its STK600 support. I download it and tried to run "autoconf" but I get the following erros:
configure.ac:34: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.

configure.ac:35: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
configure.ac:41: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LEX
Is there another to compile it without automake (I can't find a INSTALL file)
and if not,
is this a problem of my system or a problem of avrdude?
