Follow-up Comment #3, bug #28744 (project avrdude):
I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm unable to write a binary to boot: or
a hex (with boot addressing) to flash: . Writing to the application space (0)
works just fine. This is on an xmega128a1 using jtag2pdi using avrdude 5.10.
