Follow-up Comment #2, bug #29296 (project avrdude):
Thanks. Perhaps it's time to move to a new bootloader.
Can you recommend a simple, light, bootloader that avrdude supports? The
STK500 protocol requires the bootloader to be larger that it needs to be.
Would be nice to have a real light protocol.
