Follow-up Comment #2, bug #29743 (project avrdude):
More info: I can upload from the same machine and avrisp2 to a328p using
stk500v1 or ISP. Even with PDI, avrdude sees the avrisp2, including
recognizing its serial number.
Is it possible that in order to switch usb configuration (whatever that
means;->), that the usb device needed to be opened differently?
In any case, I'm running OSX 10.5.8. Not sure what version of libusb I'm
running, probably whatever came with crosspack.
