Follow-up Comment #3, patch #7486 (project avrdude):
Links in the docs is fine, maybe also in the patched
portion of avrdude.conf.in, as this is what people easily
do have at their hands. I think one link per site would
be enough (assuming you could always navigate from there
to other devices on the same site).
A separate patch for the docs is fine, but I don't mind
much which form. Pick whatever is easier for you to do.
