I am not sure but from my experience I think you can use 2 channels of
animations on the same mesh.Because when you use one all your mesh is under
control by the channel .So I can't see how you can make two channels operate
on the same mesh at the same time. Also for your scenario the usual approach
is to add two separate anim sequences -one for walking and second for
walking and hand  wave. Once again I am not sure and if someone has a better
idea I would like to hear it too.
