I am having a problem with object "solidarity". I am using the trunk
of away3dlite, chosen for its simplicity and speed. Before you
suggest it, I tried Away3D and ran into all kinds of issues, and at
this point the development is pretty far along, so to rip out and
replace lite would be more than I really want to do, especially when
it may not fix my problem, which is:

I have a "house" model as a box, and am dynamically "attaching"
features like drip edge, shingles, etc. Most of the objects I am
attaching are planes or plane deformations, which makes the effect
especially noticeable, but I see it with solid objects too. The
problem is simply a face will become transparent when it shouldn't.
An object may all but disappear unless viewed at some "optimal" angle,
which is not necessarily directly face-on.

Some other info:
I tried to use the prefab as3 exporter instead of using my blender
collada export directly - no change
I can fix it by applying a filter, like GlowFilter, but this causes
other problems, like correct sorting
Doesn't matter if my plane is single or double-sided
Distance does affect it, but for the purposes of this project, objects
need to be extremely close
I am fairly accomplished in AS3, but this is my first 3D and
Away3D(lite) project
I have posted a collage illustrating these problems at

Ideas?
