Looking from the picture, if that's the only problem, you might be able to
fix it this way:

If you can split the roofs all into another object, and load that in
seperate, then add pushfront=true on just the roof then that should fix it.

Otherwise a small trick may be to color the inside of all the houses the
same color as the roof (back material), that way when it does peek through
you shouldn't be able to tell. Just another idea that may/may not work, but
might be worth trying just to see.
