I had lot's of trouble with Broomstick when the latest incubator build
came out.
Most have been resolved with the Github version of Away3D.
There's still some things broken, (would love an answer to this one

I don't think you can expect a finished release of Broomstick until a
few weeks/months after the final release of the Flash11 player. On the
other hand not *everything* will change, so definately worth playing
with and introducing to potential clients for future projects. It's a
different world to 3.6
