Hello guys,
I'm testing 3.4 since rc2 on my freebsd box, and this morning I noted a
small bug that didn't happen on 3.3, let me try to explain.
I have tag # 3 set to use floating layout
awful.layout.set(layouts[12], tags[s][3])
And I set firefox to always open on tag 3
{ rule = { class = "Firefox" },
properties = { tag = tags[1][3] } },
When I start firefox the 1st time, I resized its window to use all screen
space (like maximized), and when I close it, firefox seems to save its
last size.
If I'm on tag 3 and re-open firefox, its size is ok, like last time,
but, if I move
to tag 4, using common tile layout, open a terminal and start firefox, my
screen blink, i can see firefox starting on current tag and being moved to
tag 3 after this.
When I go to tag 3 firefox's window size is using half of screen size, the
same if it was on tag 4 with a terminal, the size of tag 4 master area.
I don't know if my explanation was good enough, if not, just let me know
and I can try to explain better, and of course, I can test a possibly patch.
