Hi everyone,
I'm kind'a new to awesome but I already love it! Though I have a little
problem concerning java applications.
The man page states one should try to use JRE 1.4 or set an environment
variable. I've tried both versions but still I only get a greyish/ whitish
window when running thinking rock [1], an application written in Java. It
seems that the window elements are loaded successfully, since I get to open
a dialogbox, though the whole window stays grey/ white.
I also tried to use wmname as suggested in [2] and set the window name to
some random name, but, again, no luck.
Can someone tell me how to get TR to start properly. Also the app doesn't
start using the whole screen, but only a part of it. I'd prefer tr to start
maximized.
Can someone please help me out? Am I doing anything wrong? I use Debian
Squeeze and used the awesome deb package (v3.2.1).
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
Torsten
