I also have a problem with xterms no longer responding to Control-c. I am running a Debian testing+unstable mix with the following versions of awesome related packages:
ii awesome 3.3.2-1 ii awesome-extra 2009072701 Note that I am not running 3.3.3 (in reference to some people saying that the problem was introduced in that version, according to the changelog information). For some reason, recently C-c stopped working for me so it may be one of the underlying libraries? (similar to the problem with libxev recently?) Just adding a data point basically!
