I agree - thanks for sharing the video link - was good to see! 100% agree that awesome is a perfect low memory, powerful GUI for a server and the customization is lovely - could have a few better "getting started" guides/tutorials, but once you take the lid off, it isn't that hard!
I have even just setup Ubuntu Server with Awesome on a BeagleBoard xM [ARM] - Especially sweet given that limited RAM!
