Hello all, when I set multimonitor on awesome with (and grandr, lxrandr.. etc etc):
xrandr --output VGA1 --mode 1280x768_60.00 --right-of LVDS1 I get this errors: X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist) Major opcode of failed request: 149 (RANDR) Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (RRCreateMode) Serial number of failed request: 25 Current serial number in output stream: 25 Daemon already running on PID 3731 X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist) Major opcode of failed request: 149 (RANDR) Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (RRCreateMode) Serial number of failed request: 25 Current serial number in output stream: 25 X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist) Major opcode of failed request: 149 (RANDR) Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (RRCreateMode) Serial number of failed request: 25 Current serial number in output stream: 25 and the multi-monitor settings don't work. I use a external monitor that needs the "xrandr --newmode" command to work at better resolution. With others windows manager the same operations work (I tried with openbox, gnome and mate).
