Well, yes. I subscribed to the "awesomewm" tag and get mail
notifications. Still, this seems to be only me.

With my IRC-time decreasing, this is again mostly Elv13 with some help
from Daniel, I think.

However, questions on the mailing list are addressed more often, I think.

I'm not really sure. The current situation is non-intuitive and a bit
weird. I think "GitHub issues" is the only "communication channel" that
everything looks at. However, this will scare away people from asking
questions.

First impression (after reading on Wikipedia what it is): One more
communication channel that reaches only a subset of people (which for
awesome means: only one person).
