Hi, Are there any plans for improving tray icon support in Java 7?
Current problems in Java7u4: 1) PNG icon with alpha channel has gray/opaque background 2) system tray icon size not correctly detected. Example: OpenSuse 12.1, KDE - reported 24x24 should be 22x22 pixels I think that 24px is hard coded in sources. Due to 1) can be used smaller icon that is not centered when scaled Thank you Martin
