Dear all, I would like to ask whether anyone of you has been using Cost Accounting Module in Axapta 3.0 Could you please share the following information:
-What are the features and capabilities that axapta can capture in the cost accounting module? -What is the method currently available for the cost allocation? Is there also repeated distributions method (method to distribute the apportionment indirect cost by repeated elimination). -Anybody knows how the allocation & distribution methods of Standard Unit, Single Unit, Account, EDS (Expense Distribution Sheet) Group, Fixed Percent work? -Can the hourly rate coming from the result of EDS calculation be automatically linked to the cost category in Production Module? -Can the Cost Purpose Accounting Module be used to calculate the distribution of indirect cost for Product Costing (one product/product line is regarded as one purpose)? Is this Cost Purpose Accounting the same like Cost Object Accounting? Other question: Why there is no structure content of Cost Accounting and Production modules in Axapta Online Help?
