Hi James,

In case this is not caused by your customization, you can send me your data
for checking. The function works fine on my side.

Subject: RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Invoice register and approval

Well I have tried to debug and not found any success. I have checked the
field conditions of the two tables ledgerjournaltrans and vendtrans and they
all are correct according to the code in the method 'setStandardRanges' of
the from LedgerJournalTransApproveFetchVouchers.

Can someone explain about the TmpFrmLookup as I think this must be where
things are maybe not right...but I cannot find out where this table is
updated at any time during the procedure when the 'Fetch Voucher' button is
pressed...(sorry not a true Axapta programmer so can only go so far...:(
)

Why do I suspect TmpFrmLookup? well I see some code in the method on some of
the data soruces in the form LedgerJournalTransApproveFetchVouchers like:

    qbds = this.query().dataSourceTable(tablenum(TmpFormLookup));
    qbds.addLink(fieldnum(LedgerJournalTrans, RecId),
fieldnum(TmpFormLookup, LineNo));

Appreciate your help as this is starting to get very frustarting

Thanks

James

Thanks Matt

Yes thats basically what I have done but both systems (one a cusotmer and
the other the standard interantional demo data) still have the same problem
of not showing any vouchers in the fetch een though I can plenty in the pool
of registerd invoices...

Okay looks like will have to start debugging...

Thanks for the help

James

Then I'm as puzzled as you are, because I hadn't done any setup other than
obviously what is part of the standard demo data.

The only thing I've done when registering the original invoice is to assign
an approver; but I'm guessing you will have done that.

Matt

James

There are no bugs that I'm aware of. I've just tried it on my demo system
(SP2) and it works fine. When you registered the invoice you did post it? If
you don't it won't be visible when you try and fetch invoices.

Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Invoice register and approval

Can someone help me with the invoice approval in Ax3.0 SP1 or SP2...

I am used to working with this in previous axapta versions but with v3.0 I
can register the invoice and see it in the invice pool but when I select
Fetch vouchers in the invoice approval journal there are no vouchers
shown...

Is this a known bug or have I missed some setup? I recall only having to
create the register and approval journals but it was so long ago I actually
did it in v2.5 I may have missed something.

Thanks

James
