Jim,
I have not found the security key that will disable the rename
button. You can disable it through the AOT, though.
Navigate to:
AOT
->Forms
-> SysRecordInfo
-> Designs
-> Design
-> Group:RenameGroup
-> Group: Group1
-> ButtonGroup: ButtonGroup2
-> Button: Rename
Right-click on the Button:Rename
Change the property Enabled to No
Save all
This will disable the button for all users. If you need to use it in
the future, you'll have to enable it again using the same method.
Someone in this forum will undoubtedly tell you that mortals like us
should not mess with the AOT. They're right. But it's the only
answer I have for your question.
