I am in the last phase of some detailed analysis of Date Weighted Average and cost of sales posting processes.
I believe the stock close function should use net purchases to calculate the average cost price (i.e. purchase receipts and purchase credits) but what it actually uses is purchase receipts and sales credits, in other words stock additions. This has been put to MBS and they have come up with some operational solutions and suggestions that have resulted in code changes. They have also admitted that changes to the stock close function are unlikely. If anybody has problems or would like any specific questions answered I may be able to assist. It is likely that when we conclude, our findings will be documented and could be forwarded on request. --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "frodnew57" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "slcooper6868" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > -I know you gave me the name of the partner but I seem to have > > misplaced it, can you give it to me again? thank you > > > > Entegrate (Chicago, IL) > > > > > -- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "frodnew57" > > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Does anyone know of a company who is using weighted average > cost > > in > > > > Axapta?
