Hi Alessandro

The AOS is a windows service that loads and executes the application and makes the necessary connections to the database for the client. If you are going to install Axapta in a cluster this means that you should install the AOS on two (at least) machines that are configured for this purpose. In the Server Manager for each AOS you then setup the connection to the SQL cluster server for the database.

You should have and application server that stores the application files that will be used by both AOS. After installing the application on this server you also setup the Server Manager to point to the share containing the application. This will centralize the application thus allowing the same application logic to be shared across both AOS. This means that changes are always made to one location and made visible to all users connecting via the AOS1 and/or AOS2.

Hi group..

I need to install axapta 3.0 on a windows cluster. I already installed sqlserver on the cluster and it’s working well..

Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to install axapta in that environment? Where should be putted the binaries and the application? On each server or on a shared device?

Please help me..

Regards, Alessandro
