Hi Mitchell,

I have never done this before but I know that it is a global change to the database. This means that you will have to synchronize the data dictionary and this may take some amount of time to be completed if you have a large amount of data. The data in all tables that use the SalesID EDT will have to be modified. It is best not to do this while other users are working in the system.

Our salesid are flush right.  I need them to be flush left.  Is it ok
to adjust the extended data type num (the parent extended type for
salesid) to left adjustment while there is data in the tables.  I
tried it on a test scenario and it seems to work fine. Just wondering
if anyone has done something like this in the past.

Thanks,

Mitchell
