Hi Charmaine

These warnings are typically caused by insufficient permissions. The RPM service runs under the local "SYSTEM" account by default. When you are trying to access a shared resource on another computer, typically the local "SYSTEM" account does not have permission to open the printer or print to it. In order to print, you must do one of the following:

  1. Give the "EVERYONE" group at least "Print" permissions to the shared resource. This should be done on the PC that is sharing the printer. You should also check the permissions locally on the RPM host and verify the level of access permissions.
  2. Change the account that the RPM service is running under to a user account. This should be a domain user, however, in the case of Windows 2000/NT, a local user may also be sufficient.
