Hello,
We did the same thing, but in a slightly different way. We created
a new EDT, that extends the standard price EDT, but with 4 decimals. We have
faced no problems.
However, looking at things in retrospect, we would probably do this
differently. We would create a standard 2 decimal price based on a large
qty, i.e.
a unit
price of 1,2345 would be the same as a unit price of 123,45 for a qty of
100.

Emne: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Price fields to 4 decimalsHi all,I would like to hear from those who have changed the price fields in Axapta to be 4 decimals whether there is any problems (Amount fields will still be 2 decimals). I plan to change the Price and PriceCUR EDTs to 4 decimals and on the currency records set price rounding to 0.0001Should that be enough or are there other areas problems that need to be changed? I did some testing on sales, purchases and inventory journals and it looks okay but I have not tested production.Looking forward to hearing your experiencesThanksJames
