prodjournalcheckpostroute - run method will auto create and post the BOM journal.

 

I have not looked at these classes for a long time. Let me know if the above info makes sense, if not then I will dig deeper

Is it in this class that the actual auto posting of the journal happens?  The class seems to be for creating the journal but I dont seem to be able to find once I have the journal created how to post it via code.

Do you know which production class/method etc where I can see the code that actually makes the picking list and and posts it automatically?  I have not managed to really find it after sometime of wandering around the many many classes of Production.

I am not very sure of your requirement.

 

Click on update -> start and check the "General" tab, there are a two parameters 1. auto bom consumption and 2. post picking list now that decide whether to create and post a picking list.

1) how to create the picking list against the production order in code

2) how to post the journal (and if errors how to catch them etc)

 

I am abit new to all the production but I have been told in std when you start a production order it is possible for the picking list to be automatically posted, so can anyone point me to a starting point where I can find this in the AOT.
