for some yes there is new line character in the field contents but not all (some ate 30 cahr fields that wnat to wrap within 10 char width kind of thing).

this control is coming from a display method that has return type just STR so no extended data type.

 

The strange thing is on another version of the applicaiton that the programmer has the dynamic height works.  I checked the properties of both and even thought they are the same my version does not work.... unfortunately the programmers version has missing code etc in other parts so I cannot just import this.....

Can anyone shed any light on why a control on a report set as dynamic height YES only ever prints 1 line???

 

I have tried all the different things but still cannot get it to work!!!
