What is the .alb file for? I seem to have it for some label files? Is this a cache of new labels added? Thanks James

If you have 3 tier connections then I think you need to folllow what Soren has just pasted as otherwise yes there is must likely some cache and so directly into OS file might not be the best way. My frustration probably stems from the fact that I am puzzled about how the label mechanism works. Currently we have labels in our system, which display just fine. At the same time we have label files in the OS, which are not updated during AOS service shutdown and therefore we cannot see any "new" content in the OS files. In other words, Axapta must have the label information from other (supplementary?) sources (tables ?), and therefore I would consider it "dangerous" to manually cut/paste the information in the OS. But - if it works, who cares ... :-) ? Am I making a complete fool out of myself here... ? /Jens > Yes correct > > -----Original Message----- > From: Axapta-Knowledge-Village@yahoogroups.com > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jens > Sent: 24 August 2005 19:20 > To: Axapta-Knowledge-Village@yahoogroups.com > Subject: RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Label problems > > > James, > > Thanks.
