Hi
I run my batch server via the Windows "Scheduled Tasks"
feature by adding a startup command of "batch" to the Axapta configuration. This
causes Axapta to execute the batch processing menu point on startup. The
ax32.exe Axapta executable effectively runs as a headless client because it is
running within the Windows Task Scheduler. You will probably need to modify the
setup of your Windows Task Scheduler service so that it runs as a domain user
rather than the local system account for this to work.

Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Batch-Job running on AOS?
What do you think about running Ax-batch-jobs on the AOS. But not with a
client running on the machine which hosts the AOS.
I want to know, if the AOS itself is possible to run some Ax-programs. I
know, he has no user-context, but the AOS connects to the database and has
access to the Ax-application. So everything we need is there - almost...
Any ideas are welcome!
