Hi,

The purpose is to simulate transactions on the Sales - Purchase-
receiving and inventory transactions is it?

My idea is to use the famous "the light company" as the template,
BUT you need to create the items yourself, using company accounts
template (item-record info-company accounts template).

By using this approach you will benefit of data structure of "the
light company" master data such as item group, dimension group,
legder settings etc.

Then after finished creating the items, vendors etc, use "record
level security" feature to filter all the items and vendors you
want, and export the company data.

After that create a new blank company and import the data, you will
have a new company that is have a similar settings/behaviour
with "the light company" BUT with your item master.

No transactions from "the light company" will be copied to the new
company because of record level security filtering.

Hopefully can help

Thanks & regards

Hardi T
