I was
following the wrong steps. But now i have cancelled the 3 remaining units just
before Invoice Updating the PO, the Status is Invoiced and not Received
according to ur reply.

a lot Sun, i acheived what i wanted axapta to do. I had never tried Cancel
Deliver option.

Hi Nihar,
by the way, Have you received your items? from your first question, there
is remaining 3 and you want to close. if you close then the status will
be Received.
PO 10, Receive 7, remaining 3 = PO status = Open
Cancel remaining 3, PO status = Received
Your PO header status is Cancelled, means you have cancelled all quantity,
including those 7 that you have received.

Hi Nihar,From my understanding, you want to close the PO and not to accept under delivery.In the PO line click Function -> Deliver Reminder. Click Cancel quantity button. Your PO now will be received. and there will be no remaining quantity to be received.Regards,Sun Fen
