hi

The level field is used to limit the disclosure of Dimension wise breakup to
the user defined accounts instead of all COA in a financail statement report.

Level are defined in COA or in financial Statemnt rows. It has nothing to do
with the column settings. Column settings are defined in Set up/Financial
Statement through the Column button.

When you take a report through GL/Reports ensure to mark the check box
available against the Line under Dimension Specification. This later activates
the Level From & To Fields were you specify the limiting numbers you have given
to the Accounts.

  Meeta Shah.

  Hi All

How does one use the field 'Level' while setting up the financial
statement?

I have entered levels 1, 2 for few CoA, which i need to see it in the
new report defined in the financial statements. But when i generate the
report neither the Account Number nor the Amount is generated in 2
seperate columns, i.e, level 1 and level 2.

For few accounts i have selected it to be Bold and Italic, which is
working fine.

Am i missing any set up?

Regards
Nihar Saraiya,
